Returns & Exchanges Policy

This Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to purchases made through the GaiaGoods marketplace (“Platform”), operated by Gaia Goods, Inc.

Most items are sold by independent vendors. Return handling is primarily managed by the vendor, not GaiaGoods, unless GaiaGoods is listed as the seller of record.

1. Return Window

Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery unless a different timeframe is clearly stated on the product listing.

2. Return Conditions

Items must be: – unused – undamaged – in original packaging

Vendors may refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Responsibility depends on the reason for return:

Vendor Pays – damaged items – defective items – incorrect items

Customer Pays – buyer remorse – incorrect size or preference

If a listing does not specify, the vendor covers returns caused by product defect or error.

4. Exchanges

If exchanges are offered, replacement items will be shipped within approximately 3 business days after the returned item is received by the vendor.

5. Refunds

  • Vendors issue refunds within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • GaiaGoods processes any associated platform transaction adjustments after vendor confirmation.

Refund timing may vary depending on payment provider processing times.

6. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

Customers should contact the vendor through the Platform and provide photos when possible.

Vendors must replace or refund eligible items at no cost to the customer. Replacement items are typically shipped within 3–5 business days after verification.

7. Lost Shipments

Vendors are responsible for carrier claims and resolution. Customers should first contact the seller. GaiaGoods may assist if necessary.

8. Disputes

Customers agree to attempt resolution with the vendor before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

GaiaGoods may review disputes but is not obligated to adjudicate individual product claims.

9. Marketplace Role

GaiaGoods provides the marketplace technology and is not the manufacturer or handler of most products. Responsibility for product condition and fulfillment rests with the vendor unless otherwise stated.
